Thank you so much !! i will order in Taobao!I used materials from various sources : Glenn Doman (POIs and BOIs), Tensai Store, TweedleWink (0-6yrs) and Wink (above 6yrs), download files compiled by parents in Brillkids forum and flash in ppt, collect pictures from Google and DIY flash cards etc.
I came across Rightbrainshop but found it not suitable for my kids, so I continued to DIY my flashcards. I bought flashcards in 7 languages from Taobao and books from Dangdang to make my home practise more interesting.

So much cheaper?
What did you buy?
When you talk about right brain training, I can only think of brillkids and rightbraineducationshop.com.
There is no such thing as cheap. Unless you are talking about imitation or copycat products.
Shichida, Glenn Doman or Heguru classes are very EX. So for sure the materials
don't come cheap.

Hi,
Can check iGenius. My youngest daughter (P1) is still with them. I see younger children (parent & child) enjoying classes too. My experience with the teachers have been very pleasant and they are caring. Price is reasonable too.
Hope it helps! -

There are so many brain training providers in the market these days. Think important to go to a reputable one. Otherwise, will the brain be negatively-impacted as a result of a provider who is not trained properly in this field?

Try logicmills
they teach analytical thinking skills -
I managed to acquire several sets of Shichida Japan’s official English books, anyone interested can PM me.

While some of you are still looking for the ideal Right Brain Training, here are a couple of right brain games you can play with your child right now. For those of you worried about your child’s age, they actually work better for slightly older children (ages 2 and up)
1)\tHave your child write out his or her name. Then have him write it again, this time going from right to left (mirror writing). Have him write it again upside down, then have him write it upside down and backwards. Writing from right to left is an excellent way of engaging the right brain.
2)\tThis one is about engaging your left and right brain at the same time. It’s one I learned on my NLP training and it’s excellent. Have your child sit up straight and clap his hands to his knees twice. Then touch his nose with his right hand, and touch his right ear with his left hand in one movement. Then clap his hands on his knees twice again, and then touch his nose with his left hand, and his left ear with his right hand. Repeat for two minutes.
3)\tGive your child some random words and ask him to freestyle a story using those words, allowing his imagination to take full rein. This one is a lot of fun and you’ll be impressed with what your child comes up with. When I played this game with my 3 year old god son, he spent a full 20 minutes telling me a fantastic adventure story, which he created just from the word ‘mountain’. Be enthusiastic and become fully engaged in the story with him, to encourage his imagination to even greater heights.
I hope these are helpful. -

Hi,
I am looking for 1-2 persons to spree blank, diy flashcards from hiap moh so as to qualify for free transportation. Collection point is Bishan St 22. Is anyone looking to buy 1 or 2 sets from Hiap Moh where Bishan is a convenient collection point?
Just to give an idea:
1 set of A4 gives 900 pieces, A5 gives 1800 pieces. Glenn doman cards specifications gives 600 pieces.
Each set of 1 side glossy, 1 side matt cards at 300 gsm is $52+gst. For A5 cards, this works out to $0.03 cents or so per card which is very cheap.
Feel free to consolidate with your friends to reach the quantity required per set. Alternatively, you can also mix different sizes of blankcards within 1 set (e.g 50% A4, 50% A5) but each additional size requirement within a set is additional $6+ gst.
This spree will close with a payment deadline of coming Sunday 14th July 2013 or earlier (if payment for 2 sets is received earlier) as I will be making a cheque for our combined purchases to send to hiap moh on the 15th July. No payment, no purchase.
Please PM me with all enquiries (as I will not be looking at this thread) before Thursday 11th July 2013 as hiap moh does not operate on Saturday and Sundays and I need to give hiap moh time to respond to your enquiries.
