On result day, students will be required to be in school by 11am.

Some schools, the results are given out in their respective classes.

For my child, it was given out in the school Hall.
With the students seated according to their class by the class register number.
          Results are given out accordingly.

Parents are seated behind at the Hall.

I do encourage that parents to be there for their kids.
Whatever the results, we are there for them.

Do give your child a hug or a pat especially if he didnt do well.

The hug and pat mean a lot to him.

I planned to be by my DC on that day ... wasn't sure if requires full day out.

Yes it is important to be there as parents.

              :thankyou:

If all goes well should be over by 12 plus ? Unless you plan to go for lunch together and also start visiting potential schools that may have special talks / info sessions that afternoon ...

I have been thinking - any students who DSA via sports, who managed to stop the particular sports becoz of injury - & yet able to continue stay in that IP school? Or worst case scenario is to exit to another school? Anybody know or heard anything before if have such cases?

Yes. I have heard a case where a DSA Sports student was offered to stop the sports because of injury and allowed to stay in the school (IP).

If you have to stop due to injury (fairly common if it's a contact sport), you maintain your place in the school.

Does choice of schools Affect chance of entering the school?

If both students hv 260 n both meet cutoff of sch A, but one is 1st choice while the other is 2nd choice (assuming first choice cannot get in for latter student) - both will still get into sch A right?

I think decimal places after citizenship would come into play and not the choice of the school ...
