Somehow, until now, my DH and I still feel that it's a publicity stunt, ESP so after the dramatic press conference. It may has something to do with his latest movie.

to show got wife forgiveness and support, also for wife to plead to media to stop reporting on this. wife's voice louder as people may pity her and stop reporting. -

As Irene's shadow, this is purely personal affair, the plea is really to leave them alone to sort out their family affairs. Please, to the media......GO AWAY!!!!
She may not be doing it for JN, she is likely doing it for her kids, all these limelight is not helping her organise her thoughts for the future so it would be good to leave them to sort things out. -

I think it's real. They cannot be airing this on the Channel 8 news if it is just for publicity. After watching the news last night, me and hubby feel its too dramatic ... As I read on the online news, many things happen within that 5 mins. All you can name of in the scenes of drama. Actually the most important is how his wife and children look at this matter and how are they going to settle with him. Being a family, I am sure they would forgive him after cooling down.

:offtopic: Did any one see that the wife actually has a bald patch. Saw this on some of those papers especially from top down view.

I think all this is Jack Neo and his family’s private business. He does not owe the public an apology. The longer this ugly episode drags on in public, the longer the sufferings of his innocent children. As parents, we should be able to understand that and let them move on.

I think JN is not truly sorry for what he has done. Looking at the press conference it looks like a carefully staged PR attempt to divert attention from his wrong doing and pity his wife instead. The way he screamed for people to "go away" and act like he was so concerned, just turned me off.
If you make the mistake of adultery once, I can say, it’s an honest mistake. JN prey on girls who want to make it in entertainment because they are vulnerable, and because they may be willing to do it for fame. He obviously cares more for for his own needs than his wife’s and children’s. He can cry and act pitiful but he was never a good actor anyway.

Agree...very drama...especially the last part when that Ah Nan trying to fend off the reporters and photographers... it was quite farnie... :roll:
Even my girl said that neo guy is so fake lor.
My heart goes out to the wife... why did she choose to face the media? I really hope she will stay strong despite everything.
And the poor children - wonder how they face their classmates and friends? Glad that the school hols are coming... hope that the kids and the mum can escape to a nearby off-shore island for some breathing space, away from the public and him too. They need time to heal from their pain and hurts.
As for that neo guy, he needs to lock himself up in a room to do some serious reflection and rehabilitation which hopefully leads to repentance. He may want to get his pastoral staff to help.
