Any parents know of school bus service from Woodlands to HCI (pick up point, time, fees, etc)? Also, do HCI students stay back late on Fridays or do they go back to school on Saturdays for CCAs or other activities? Would appreciate info. Thanks!

There should be school bus service from Woodlands, but I do not know the details.

Yes, some CCAs are on Friday and Saturday. In fact, many CCAs require the students to stay back for more than 1 day of the week. And I see many CCA activities on Friday afternoons.

Don't have the full schedule for all the CCAs. Just from what I know,

uniform groups usually on 2 days, fridays and saturdays
Competitive sports will be between 3 - 4 times a week

3rd language day this year is on Thursdays, so almost all the students who do Jap, German, French go for 3rd langauge on Thursdays

My son only took HCL 'O' Level in Sec 4, which was few days ago on 10 Nov 2009. He did not take O Lvl CL in Sec 3.

my son will be in HCI next year. Does anyone here know how to get into

badminton team which my son likes very much. He can play quite well but did not receive any formal training in his primary sch. Does attending lessons taught by those coaches from China help increasing his chance of getting selected in the CCA?

My girl in NY, may be similar, the school will have a week for the sec 1 to choose the cca by selection trial, so if he is good he will get to select by the coach, I don think the parent can do anything about it.
