I have just been introduced to Prospan, a cough medication for kids. Apparently its herbal, but I need to find out more about it, so I am afraid I cannot give you any more details.

Hope this helps ... 😄

Hi autumn and BlurBee,
My office's PD recommends and the clinic dispenses Prospan (dried ivy leaf extract) for DD.
Adults can use it as well.
The PD said if I were pregnant, can use it safely too.

Here is the link:

My doctor also give the same :celebrate:
Thanks for the link duriz 😄

Hi BlurBee,
I get it from my office clinic.
But you can get it from all major pharmacies such as Unity, Guardian and Watsons (if they have a pharmacy within).
This cough syrup is really very good for little ones who don't know how to expel phelgm. It's quite mild for adults but I feel the benefit as I don't know how to expel phelgm either *goondu alert* I just swallow it and hope for my gastric juices to get them nasties. I don't like the drowsiness caused by regular cough syrups and I have to be careful of what I take because I'm still nursing DD.
Hope your DS feels better soon :hugs:

I finally bought Manuka Honey from Nature Farm. I feed straight from the bottle and my boys hate it. 😢

Please suggest some other ways I could persuade them to take this.

Thanks!

Can we feed 1yr old with Manuka Honey? 1/3 tsp or 1/2 tsp?
