Only 9 schools offer GEP. So if clear 2nd round of selection on 15 & 16 Oct, kid has to choose from these 9 schools only? How many choices does the kid has? I noticed some got affliated sec sch, but some doesnt, wouldn't it be a waste if don't go for affliated schools since got advantageous edge as a backup for psle? I also heard GEP tend to emphasize too much on projects and less focus on mainstream syllabus as such child may not be able to do well in PSLE, what's your say? Really appreciate ur sharing pls. As somebody who took the test and entered GEP 3 years ago, I remember getting an envelope in the mail with a letter inside that informed me of the fact I had gotten into GEP. It seemed to be a really thick envelope too. I'm not too sure if this is how they inform parents and the students of whether the latter had gotten into GEP, but I don't think this method would have changed, since it has only been 3 years. Since this \"screening test\" is on a larger scale than your usual school exam, I think the school wouldn't announce the results but instead, MOE directly sends you a letter.

Just a disclaimer, this could be very, very wrong and I could be behind the times. I haven't exacly been keeping up with the screening tests lately due to PSLE.

Hi, anyone took Thai Air from Tokyo (Haneda) >> BKK >> SIN before? Transit is only 55mins, wondering should give it a shot the fare price is really appealing…but i am worried not in time to catch the flight back to SIN…if you have taken this flight b4, can kindly share your experience? TIA

Then how and when do i know i am withinn the top 30%? When choosing the sec sch (SAP) i cannot add in the +2 yet ?

I thought once the cert print merit for HCL auto qualify for +2 and can be sure that the child's t score is within top 30% of cohort?

Hi, you will know your DC is in the top 30% of the cohort, when the S1 form given out to your DC will state his/her eligibility to take HMTL for secondary education.
