      Hi

My daughter is in Peichun P3 this year and we live in Punggol since her P1 🙂
not so crazy lar.. we used to live in Bishan but moved but I don't want to change her school so we continue the long commute.

In lower pri, my gal gets picked up at 10.40am and drop off at 7.15 to 7.20pm

now in P3, she gets picked up at 5.50am every morning and she takes a one hour nap on the school bus which she likes. Return trip home will be approx 1 hour after school dismissal but she stay back in school a few times a week so sometimes she get home only at 4.30pm to 4.40pm

    • RE: Flat Feet Problem

      hi

my daughter has flat feet. Brought her to get a custom pair of insoles from soulmate 1 year ago and from a recent appointment, I was told that her current pair of insoles are too small for her and we need to pay $315 to make another pair. I am pretty upset and am keen to explore other options.

Callie, we live in Punggol so maybe that’s why it’s $10 per trip. If your daughter is taking the school bus already, you may wish to check with the bus uncle. I believe it should be cheaper if you live near the school.

The Punggol school bus uncle is Benson and his contact number is 9388 1002.

      my daughter is in 2L

I asked the bus uncle yesterday, he said if Megan needs to stay back after school for activities in P3, he can help arrange for another driver to send her back. Per trip $10. He couldn’t tell me much yesterday and said we’ll talk again.

mummy_tang, so good to have reliable teachers.

my daughter’s P1 class FT was on leave for term 1 and had another teacher to stand in, from term 2 onwards, she kept falling ill and was always on mc. Hence they always have change of relief teachers but they are mostly the retired teachers, very experienced. In term 4, the kids are asked to go for TB test due to close contact with a TB patient in school and luckily most of the kids did not contract any TB virus including my daughter. For this term, they have 2 teachers, Mrs Tan and Mr Chew to be co Form teacher. My daughter likes Mr Chew. He is very encouraging, leaving little notes to encourage the kids to do well for their test etc.

For P2, my daughter FT is level master and her chinese teacher is her P1 chinese reading teacher, Mdm See so hopefully this year will be more stable.

you can refer to this pcps link for name of level master and senior teachers

      http://www.peichunpublic.moe.edu.sg/index.php/about-us/key-personnel

Parents can enter the school but need to sign in at the main gate and give reason.

      Hi, I'm new here.

My daughter is in 2L and her FT and chinese teacher are different this year. I thought the P2 teachers will be the same as P1. Her FT is Mrs Lim and chinese teacher is Mrs See I think. She said both teachers super fierce.

Wanna ask school bus arrangement when the kids have CCA. We live in Punggol so if the kids stay back for CCA in P3, there won't be school bus home after the activities? Do u know if it's safe for a P3 girl to take train and buses, making multiple transfers to reach home?

I m not sure if Punggol area has any separate bus/van arrangements for later school timings, you may wish to check with your existing bus driver if he has any contacts.
Frankly I wont advise a 9 yr old girl to travel around alone... if possible, may have to fetch her on your own.
The thing is CCA may not be the only day your DD needs to stay back next year.... From the P3 schedule, at least 2 days are compulsory = CCA and Higher CL class. Other 2 days will be dependent if your DD is joining any AS / EP programmes.

What is EP programme? AS is Academic support? Oh dear, if my daughter needs to stay back late everyday from P3 onwards, we'll have to spend cab fare from tpy to punggol after school everyday. I am a full time working mother so need maid to fetch.
