bee8250:Dear All,Need help on purchasing dictionary for P1? Any recommadation?Thanksbee8250don't think you need to purchase dictionary at P1 yet.For chinese, the sch will recommend you to buy at P3. The Creative e-dict is very popular. But you shouldn't buy now cos the model may change / improve 1 or 2 years down the road. Approved dictionaries can be used during exams for Paper 1 (compo) from P3 onwards. For english, no dictionary during exams. So you can buy any dictionary which is suitable for your kid for own private reference. i still prefer the old fashion english dictionaries like my old oxford dict. longman also good.

mrswongtuition:My son has been 'modelling' for photoshoots for quite some time. Started off with one of the photographers needing a baby to expand his portfolio as he was going into it professionally. Then it lead to other photographers needing his 'services' too. As he's still too young for 'modelling courses', I've never looked into it. Modelling comes naturally, trust me. I grew up in the fashion industry. If you intend to let your child attend such courses for professional jobs, then be prepared to be a SAHM. If you want your child to learn good posture and be confident, ettiquete course (many CCs have them during the school holz, sometimes Civil Service Club also has them) is good enough.Hi mrswongtuition, thank you for sharing with us. Did not know that CC also have such course, will start to look out for it. Think that CC will be much cheaper.cheersbee8250

foreverj:you mean dd or ds? :? haha, anyway, boys also can dress nicely. esp pretty boys! i never knew this until i went for an etiquette course when i first joined my very first employer. the image consultant said there are different kinds of boys. one kind is those always love to put on their sunday best to go out. they love to look good and dress well. i think it makes them feel good too  sounds a bit like women hor?opps, sory, DD Somehow, I feel, if I have a daughter, I'd probably go 'bersek' buying spree. My sister was like that. I'm sure you know what I mean, the myriad range of gals' clothes and accesories in the mkt ...At it is, whenever I am in the toys section also, I invariably end up checking out stuff for gals ...
