199, is not the end, many people is late starter, I know of a boy who score around 199 in PSLE, but able to excel in the Sec sch & sebsquently get into JC and finally to Uni.

They might perform better with a new environment.
They will think of their future and study hard for it.
Do not stress yourself too much.
You would be surprise that some of the \"188\" COP students can perform better and excel :grphug: when come to 'O' level.

For the majority, after all the main purpose of education is about learning and understanding.

Has anyone transferred their child midway through Primary school? Any experiences to share?

Yes, I transferred my son during his P2/2009 from a not so academic focus school to an academic focused one.

He was able to cope well despite the initial few weeks of adjustment,
most importantly, after much encouragement from his new form teacher and me, his results improved tremendously.

Sometimes you guys have to understand that it is not easy to be SAHM and handle children & keep track their performance.

I do blow my top at my children especially when I felt that I have tried my best but they still shown no concern over their work.
Sometimes a good talk with the children does help both parties.
