    • RE: Baby's Bowel Movement

      Hi Serena,

Babies this young pass stools very irregularly, unlike adults.

Fully breastfed babies may move their bowels as often as after every feed (my eldest one did!! ), or as infrequently as once a week. Both are perfectly normal.

Actually, to determine if your baby is constipated, look at the hardness/softness of the stools....

      hard, pebble-like stools = constipated
      soft, paste-like stools = normal

      Hope this helps......[/list]

    • RE: All About Food Catering

I used Four Seasons for my baby's full month celebration in June this year. Food quality is good and value for money. 😉

    • RE: Teeth Grinding

my 6yr old daughter used to grind her teeth rather frequently when she’s asleep, but she’s stopped doing that for quite a while already (at least a yr or so).

my trusty dentist says it’s normal for children to do this and it doesn’t do any significant damage, but it’s bad for adults to be doing it.

    • RE: Pocket money

well deardear07, you must be very very young (or very very rich)! 😉 During my primary school days, I had 50cts/day as allowance....a bowl of noodles was 20cts, drinks cost 10cts...still had money left over a a packet of snack (the multi colored rice cube snacks).

anyone here from my era?? 🙂 🙂

    • RE: Pocket money

Thanks for all the information 😄 !

Guess I'll check out the food price at her school canteen like mumwgals suggested ..... but I guess for a start $1.50 +- should be about right. 🙂 🙂

    • Pocket money

Hi! My daughter will be going to P1 next year and just like to check with all the experienced mommies & daddies in this forum how much pocket money is considered a reasonable amount?

Do you give pocket money on a daily basis or weekly?

wow Zack, I admire u for standing your grounds on the budget thingy…I often face the same problem but the cannot-bear-the-disappointed-look-on-my-girl’s-face feeling almost always ensures that she gets what she wants…
