Actually buying a property near cemetery may has its advantage as its property valuation may not be as high compared to other properties some distance away. However, should put into consideration the implications, like considering the feelings of the young kids (especially given their imaginative minds, the sights of cemetery may cause shudders down their spine and wild thoughts).
Of course, remember to do a checklist to evaluate certain aspects before deriving at a decision

RE: Cherie Hearts

I agree with your point. Not only CH, but seems like other franchise of other 'brands' are not uniform in their standards. It depends on the luck or fate or whatever you call that. A few days ago a friend told me that her son in CH got a bad fall some time ago that she decided to pull him out. She told me that they kept changing teachers and a lot of prc teachers over there, and she heard from another parents who claimed their kids branded apparel went missing and there were rumours that the principal kinda psychologically imbalanced as her own child was mentally handicapped or something like that.mamemo:
Seems like most of the comments on CH is negative. I used to think that CH is a premium chain of CC, like kinderland. But with franchising, standards drop.
My boy is also in CH K2, quite disappointed with the quality of teaching. The teacher didn't even bother to arrange for Parent Teacher Conference. Sometimes spelling lists are given late, sometimes teacher forgot to give spelling !
Faint!
On the other hand, another church friend whose daughter is in CH (another franchise) is coping very well and progress very fast in her speech and arts. They had good parental and staff relations. This friend said that the money for her daughter's fee was worth it as the teachers are very devoted.
So ultimately, it depends on where and when you put your child in those reputable CC. -
RE: My Girl- 7Yrs- losing her hair SOS
Should send your daughter for a thorough medical checkup. Perhaps you may want to add in vit supplements, there are some reputable brands of multivitamins for kids in the market.Try to massage your daughter’s scalp to enhance the blood circulation and throughflow of the ‘qi’ within the scalp.

RE: How can a child gain weight? What do you feed your child?
When my boy was young toddler he lost his appetite and craving for food. My mother in law recommended an orange colour syrup (that can be obtained from medicinal hall or pharmacies). Certified and approved with no known cause of side effect. I used it by adding a small portion into the milk, and his appetite regain back to normal. Forgot that name of the syrup though.

RE: Looking after our skin
For egg white mask I felt that there will be an aftermath smell, which is not very pleasant. Cucumber can pose itchiness for those with sensitive skin, given the content of citric acid.

RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight
Perhaps doing some eye relaxation might help. I make sure my younger boy do relaxation exercise and not to read under dim or intense lightings and limit his exposure to tv or computer screen. He is not wearing specs. There are some helpful techniques from youtube.
