The grey book is just a guide line as the COP IS EITHER-1 or +1.

We are only concern that Dhs as 2nd choice might show that we are not sincere ๐Ÿ˜“

No worries. Schools have no feelings; only humans do. In fact, it is the MOE system and not schools that will allocate places based on merit, and you can bet that that system also does not have feelings. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We thought the school individually select us base on our application  didn't know it is done at HQ computer system. ๐Ÿ˜“

No wonder we saw a post saying that 1 & 2 choice should put those schools that we don't qualify and 3 & 4 choice with our achievable schools.

      Is it true?

I think better than excellent. Like many already said, you should also consider the time for your child to commute to those choice schools and the desired programme (i.e. IP or IB). But I think you will eventually end up with DHS since 257+2 comfortably makes last year's COP, which this means your concern with entry to NJC becomes secondary.

If NJC is your preference then just switch NJC with DHS. This change should not hurt your chances one bit.[/quote]

Thanks for the advice, we will let my girl choose between the two school.
