I thought contributions as a GRL should be towards the community and not just for Phase 2B?
Pls allow me to be blunt...
Do u think those parents volunteering to be PVs are all truly just want to help out in the schools? -

ya... Hong Wen is now my consolation prize....But if cran7 is taking the GRL route, then RGPS is also not in Whampoa SMC...........
Now the choice seems to either apply PV at SCGS or look for another school in Whampoa SMC..........

Yes... SCGS is in Moulmein, but I am part of the moulmein that was transferred to Whampoa SMC... :xcran7:
I am so badly affected by the boundary change.... used to be in Moulmein and was aiming for SCGS. Now change to Whampoa, everything is gone....

You double check already? I thought SCGS is with the new Moulmein-Kallang, correct me if i am wrong.
If where you stay is affected and SCGS is no longer in the same GRC, and if it is not too late, you can try to apply to do PV at SCGS. What yr is your dd born? Wish you all the best in the registration process.

RE: 1 more ballot chance during 2010 P1 registration for citizen
Think it only helps a little.
No use if all the rich PR buys the properties within <1km>1km.
Worst if they actually ‘buy’ the slot from the school.
Still think they shd exclude PR from 2B and 2C.
If PR wants their child in good schools and then take up citizenships -
RE: All About Full-Time Maids
1. Look for an agency that accepts post-dated cheques.
Reason: When there is a dispute, you do not have to worry that your whole loan repayment for current maid will be forfeited. Although the agency fee will be slightly higher, it beats having the whole loan amount forfeited. You are in control of the money as the cheques are post-dated and you can cancel them if need arises.
Any maid agency that you ppl know allows post-dated cheques? -
