RE: Montfort Junior
thank you edgrace and pokoyoko for your replies. thank you too for suggesting Victoria as i didn’t know about it. I assumed from the school’s name that it was for girls ;-D. Will check out more info from the website.
regarding montfort, the website info really looks good. may I ask edgrace in which year your child is already in? -
RE: Montfort Junior
dear edgrace, thank you. I am currently checking out the information on montfort and I do like what I read from the school website so far. However, I was worried and wondering why there seems to be a decline in registration from 2006 to 2013. It is certainly good to hear that you have had a good experience with the primary school. May I ask how long have your child/children been to this school. Thanks again.

RE: Club Only Child Club
Hello, I also have only 1 son and in K1 this year. Luckily and surprisingly, he doesn’t get jealous when we hold other babies coz he has a special attachment to younger kids/babies himself. Teaching him to share was not easy since he is an only child. It was good that he had other playmates who shared toys with him and I always remind him and highlight to him how the other people shared their things with him. I also ask him how he would feel if they did not want to share? Of course saying this once is not enough. Had to be patient and keep reminding him whenever another situation comes up. So I try to bring him to more playdates and expose to "sharing" opportunities. He has improved a lot since he was 2 yrs old ;-D I noticed that sometimes if it is a very special toy to him, he may not want to share it…and I just respect that…and point that he can share other things.

RE: Flat Feet Problem
Hello, thank you for sharing your experiences, specially for mentioning Dr. Jessica in the past posts. Although she is no longer in Singapore, we hope to visit the clinic for my son. For 2 yrs, he has been having pain in both feet but starting this year, the pain is more intense with tears and screaming that I had to give paracetamol once early Feb. The pain comes on and off and it is hard to find the cause. Orthopedic doctors said nothing is wrong, just growing pain. But if you see the child crying so much in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep, as a mom, you just want to do something and keep on looking for a solution. Has anyone have similar experience with their child’s feet? I wonder if there are others who have recently been to Dr. Fiona? How was your experience with her?
