Can I confirm that even if you are not staying in the GRC you are serving in, the phase 2B endorsement letter can still be signed by the advisor?

RE: All About Active Community Leaders
Hi, I have three questions:
1. In the grassroots connect, my residential address cannot be found. Where can I find it?
2. When we change our residential address, do we need to inform the CM and chairperson?
2. If residential address is changed in March, the endorsement letter that is generated will be endorsed by the new advisor of the new GRC or the advisor of the old GRC? Why would the new advisor endorse the letter when the person did not serve in the new GRC but the old GRC? -

RE: All About Active Community Leaders
To frenmy and skii,
Base on my understanding,
1. The school you can choose is only based on the residential address in your nric.
2. The letter to endorse you are active community leader does not have any grc or address attached to it. It does not pose restriction on the location. -

Hi,
Can I confirm that PA letter is the same for any GRC, which can be used to apply for phase 2b in the GRC you reside in? -
RE: All About Active Community Leaders
Hi,
Scenario:
1. Lets say a parent has served at GRC A as EM for 2 years.
2. The parent then shifted to an apartment at GRC B.
3. The parents changed their residence address to the apartment at GRC B.
4. The chairman and CO allow the parent to continue serving as EM.
Question:
1. Since the PA letter is for the endorsement of the parent as an active community leader, can the parent qualify for phase 2B to a primary school in GRC B?
This does not seem to be in conflict with any PRESENT rules and regulations.
Would appreciate response based on most recent understanding of the system after 2015.
Thanks.
