No I meant can we withdraw before Balloting.

Why would people withdraw before the balloting since they cannot apply for another school until 2CS?

if using old method of balloting maybe is really luck.. but then again. now is computerised balloting.. no transparency leh.. so maybe tis yr \"such\" thing may happen and we will never know..

We all know that trust is at a deficit with this current Government... But seriously, I think there's still integrity in the system lah.
Unless... you are competing with some big shots for the place (but big shots won't be in Phase 2C leh šŸ˜‰ )

      Big shots phase 0 :rotflmao:

I think for HWS parents who have boys, if they withdraw, are likely going to try for SJI Jr as they may be staying within 1 km or 1-2km as it is relatively safer than the 28:114 seats vs applicants in HWS.

Please take into account the ACS parents who are still on the fence today. They will flood SJIJ at the last minute and some SJIJ parents >1 km might not have enough time to activate Plan B.

I agreed. All the new BOTs are more than 1km. McNair Tower, Bendemeer Light and Condos near City Square Mall. CityView BTO six years ago.

There were more 140 applications for the PV and the school only took in 20 living within 1km

      Just sharing:

      Catholic high
      <1km = 30
      1-2km = 2
      Vacancies = -11

      Sometimes, I just wonder...
      Why bother.

Maybe they are not well informed as us. Last year, I did a check in OneMap and there were 3 schools within 1km. However, I just checked it became 2 schools. The third school suddenly became 1 - 2km.

      Hi Parents,

I will like to seek your advice.
What will be the chance of st. margaret going into balloting for SC staying within 1-2km this year? We are considering to register for my gal. Thank you in advance.
Most likely there will be balloting within 1-2km this year. You can call the school on the last day of the registration to find out the numbers. Then you can make the decision.
