Innova will only have their first batch of P6 students taking the PSLE this year end.
These are transferred students from other schools when they first started.

Their official first batch (aka true blue innova student since P1) is in P4 this year.

It should be 2nd batch to take PSLE this year.

Here's what I can share, based on what's mentioned in a letter that was sent this week:

40 P6 students sat for the PSLE. Among them, 97.5% passed (national ave is 97.3%) and were assessed as suitable to proceed to sec. school. In terms of course eligibility, 67.5% are eligible for the Express course. (above national ave. of 63.5%).

Just want to share that I find the EPH Quick Revision Grammar Guide by Janet Tan useful. I bought for both years - P5 & P6. Original px is around $2.70; for P6's, I got it at a steal for $0.85 during the Dec Pop Fest!


I like it cos it's a summary of the grammar rules - eg. I can zoom in to the portion on Direct & Indirect Speech when I did S&T revision with DS. :love:

I posted your question to my child and he immediately said that his teacher told the whole class not to simply write 'living/non-living thing' as the answer for such questions. They were told to state characteristics or what are their physical attributes (eg bat vs bird, both have wings).

The question is similar to a question in My Pals are Here - Diversity P3&4 - pg11. The question in the textbook asked \"WHY are Zoe (cat) and Teddy (toy) so different?
The answer given in the textbook:-
They are different because Zoe is a LIVING THING and Teddy is a NON-LIVING THING.
