Do you mind your child attending GESPS? If you don't mind, you can try RMPS at P2C. You shouldn't have any problem with GESPS in P2CS.

However, if you prefer ZDPS over GESPS, you may have to decide between balloting in RMPS and a confirmed place in ZDPS during P2C (ZDPS seems safe for SCs staying within 1 km in P2C).

GESPS is around 2km from our house, so we are thinking to try RMPS as its walking distance, but if the slot is super less then we might need to register to ZDPS, its the second nearest..
but we also thought of another option for balloting for RMPS and GESPS for P2CS..
but heard from friends that its better if the school distance is nearer incase of CCA next time.. thats why crossing finger the slot is not so less haha

This year look more likely to have balloting within 1km for RMPS, Zhangde looks fine for within 1km. You need to ask yourself your risk profile for balloting. - how much risk you can take. The sooner you know this, the clearer your plan can be.

MOE's P1 Registration proximity criteria is just < 1 km, between 1 and 2 km and > 2 km.

Since both you are within 1 km of both RMPS and Zhangde, you will be in the priority group '< 1 km' when you register in either school It does not matter if RMPS is nearer.

Yes, RMPS is a very popular school and faces balloting for the past 2 years at Phase 2C ('< 1 km' in 2015 and 'between 1 and 2 km'. in 2016). Zhangde did not face balloting last year (it did for 'between 1 and 2 km' in 2015).

Since you are within 1 km of both RMPS and Zhangde, you will be guaranteed at least a chance to balloting when you register in either school.

You may like to do more research on these 2 schools and then decide which school suits your DC's learning pace better.

For RMPS seems to be very challenging.. i was hoping tomorrow phase 2a2 will not have so many applicants (haha.. so more slot allocated for phase 2b) then more slot for phase 2c (wishful thoughts )

Sighed.. I may misunderstand the seat allocation earlier, but now with the list from MOE i become more worried.. that means it will be more challenging to put my kid in RMPS. As i can only register my kid under Phase 2C.. This is our first time to register for primary one.. Any suggestion between Zhangde or Gan Eng Seng for our second choice?

@galaxyraider affiliates is what all my friend said should consider, and they said CHIJ is a good school but nothing decided yet haha

@phtthp you have given inputs that we haven't thought before. Will do the GCE O level checking and put it in our consideration. And as for our daughter preference, last week she did mention eagerly that she wants to go to River Valley Primary school. This due to some of her peers that born in 2010 went to RVPS. But RVPS is not within 2km from our house, so i don't think she can get the slot there and its a little too late for PV now.

Thank you for the inputs, we will do the homework now and check with our daughter also which one she prefers and we will try for P2C, and crossing finger she can get the slot as its quite competitive i heard

We will be registering our daughter for P1 this year for 2018 intake.
We stay within 1km from Radin Mas and CHIJ Kellock, need more inputs or advise on which Primary should we take? As currently we are confused on which school do we need to register our girl. For CHIJ, we are keen for the affiliates with the secondary school, but RMPS also is a very good school.
Any kind advise or inputs for our consideration before this July's registration? As we can only register her under phase 2C for both schools.

im new here, and hoping can get feedback for preschool in this area..
my girl is in N2 now, currently thinking to move her out due to few consideration but still confused is it a good thing to change school.
really need help on any feed back on the following preschool:

2. MMI bukit merah
3. Little school house alexandra/ pearl bank
