Has the science paper 2 been given out yet? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DS will at least passed (as in 30/60) :xedfingers:

Baseline for this Science paper is 42.
Science papers covers 40% of total for Term 2
the rest comes from Daily work 10% and Performance Task 50%.

Don't worry too much parents of P4. Last year, my dd also just managed to pass the 70% mark. So during the PTM, I asked the teacher regarding this baseline thingy. She said that this baseline was to gauge whether your kid was coping well or not, nothing to do with promotion. The passing mark was still 50%. But for kid that obtained score below/around the baseline, the teacher might suggest remedial lesson for the kid to attend in next term. Yeap, in the end, my dd needed to attend remedial lesson.[/quote]This info is somewhat reassuring. :thankyou:
