salt lowers melting point of ice / freezing point of water. So adding salt to ice leads to melting of ice at lower temperature than usual.

In normal condition ice melts at 0 degree c, but when salt is added it will start melting at -20degree c. On ice vehicle has chance of skidding so melting ice faster will be safer for driving.

this question can be answered by checking options only. it's not possible to answer just looking at graph as there can be two options for food producer C or B

Form options given, food producer can be A or B. In enclosure 1 , B is showing sharp decline in number while A increases. So B is producer while A is predator here.
But in enclosure two A is being eaten by another animal so A is predator in first while pray in second.
C shows decline in number in both enclosures so it is prey.
While D is increasing in number in enc. 2 so it is predator.

      Hi

Can someone pls help: what are the similarities of frog egg and chicken egg?

      TIA for yr answer.

One possible answer would be that both eggs develop outside the parent's body.

      Hope this helps. šŸ˜„

Both are required for reproduction system.

      answer is 2.

      1. heating the lid will expand it and it will be loose enough to open.
      2. cooling down the glass jar will contract it so again the lid will be opened easily.

      Hi fiona2004, slmkhoo

Thanks for your reply. I was asking on behalf of my friend. This question was taken from one of the top schools science paper 2013. Her son thinks the answers is 1 but on the answer sheet, the answer is 2. We also asked a p6 student and her reply was 2. Another person said this question is debatable. So till now, we are not sure what is the correct answer for this question.
