Hi anyone with experience with Pat’s at Arena Country Club? Tried to skim through as many posts as I could to find out about that branch until I came to the list but it is not included. I stay in the west and that is the nearest for me. Can someone share their experience? Thanks!

When my 3.5yo boy started potty training (around 2yo), he went every 30-40 minutes because he was afraid of an ‘accident’. Now, he goes every 1-2 hours. I think it’s normal because their bladder is so small and they just started learning to control their bladder. If there’s no pain or discomfort, should not be a cause for worry.

Hi everyone who replied, thanks for the warm welcome! Been away so I haven't been checking my email. Yes, Floravale is in Jurong.I recently pulled my boy out of school cos of the frequent occurrence of HFMD and stomach flu there. The last straw came when he caught the stomach flu bug too. I find that it is too big a price to pay just for socialization cos I teach him at home. That's why I thought a playgroup near home where learning and play can take place would be ideal. It's ok though, I joined a meetup group in the west but have not attended any yet, enrolled my boy in Chinese and swimming lessons, tried to follow a time-table but failed so instead of being time-focused, I became task-focused. I set aside a set of materials for him to complete everyday. As long as he completes the Chinese, Maths and English tasks and ad hoc art, music and science activities and he has learned something, I take it as a job done. A job well done is when he learns happily!!!

phankao:iggy:PhankaoI honestly dont know which version is the original. How do you get your kid to read the different books on the same story?Different pictures, different books, etc? Some chinese, some english? Not forgetting the fractured ones too (the wolf and the big bad pigs or something like that) which are just as interesting. They had fun laughing over the wolf's version of the story. And the story of the Ugly Duckling who grew up to be an Ugly Duck ...
