it's 7 days trip, comprises of 30 students (for this trip 20boys & 10girls) + 4 teachers.


of which 4 days will be spent at shaolin temple, where they will learn martial arts fm the monks. at the end of the trip, MBS students will demonstrate to the monks their skill level :lol: & there's a \"graduation ceremony\" cum maka session with honorable master(s).

other days they will visit temple, pagoda, mountains, bookstores etc ...

R there any parents in the upper primary out there who will be attending tmrw’s briefing for "Shaolin Martial Arts & Cultural Immersion prog" ?


Or any of yr child who had attended previous year’s Shaolin "immersion programme" is it really REALLY tasting the hardship of Shaolin zhi di or a touristy-commericalised tour the kids will be expecting?

I was informed by the form teacher that any formal writing fm the parent is able to pardon the child fm MBSactivities.


As dd #2 (P1) requires chinese extra lessons, I've decided to enroll her in Chinese Club which I've just received a call fm Lee Lao Shi to meet at 10.30am@ gazebo tomorrow. Thus hv no idea wat they will be doing between 10.30 - 12noon

Sure hope it will interest her in Chinese

Being truly Kiasu I wrote to teachers-in-charge excusing dd #1 fm CCA & Buddhist studies that will set her back till 4.30pm tomorrow :salute:
