My boys can’t take chicken, egg, sea food or anything thats too satly…as these will caused them have Eczema or itch. I felt sad when these kept pestering them since young (age 3) and hopefully they can recover fast.

    • RE: Teaching Chinese at Home

      Hi Tamarind,

You are indeed a great advisor as I was so lost :?: in coaching my son who is in P1 this year, but after going through your blog I decided to get Leapfrog DVD for my youngest son (4 yrs old) & to guide my eldest with your methods. :goodpost:

Hopefully it works well for them instead of scaring them off as I have not been teaching them at all but depend on child care teaching & I have enrolled them for enrichment programme. Though it works well for my eldest while he was in K1 & K2 (enrolled Speech & Drama, Creative Writing) and hopefully it works for my youngest as he will be attending Maths Phonics next month.

My husband disagreed in getting a tutor for my eldest as he felt P1 & P2 is still their honeymoon stage, which I have shelf the plan till Jun to see how he has progress by than (hope it is not too late to engage for a tutor).

Do keep update with your blog as I will be making it a routine to check it out. Great Job Tamarind! :thankyou:

    • RE: Teaching Chinese at Home

Hi I am having great difficulty in teaching CL to my sons (P1 & Nusery this year) which I seriously do not know where and how to guide him in his studies and my husband is not in favour to engage tutor now as he felt P1 & P2 is still honemoon stage for children.

But I felt we need to start drilling the kids with the help of tutor and/or enrichment program as both of us are not highly educated (cos we are just the average student back).

There are so many assessment books but just do not know which is suitable, as each of them that I saw seems ok. Do you have any to recommend for P1 & Nusery?

    • RE: Budget 2011

I hope parents with children and elderly we are entitled to more childcare leave and annual leave to care for them when they are unwell.

Hope Government would fully enforce all companys to operate on 5 days week so that we can have more time with children & family as right now everyone is spending more time on work.

Family with maid to have lower levy n more rebates for property tax, income tax & TV license.
