Hi!
My girl is in P3. May I know if anyone has received the CCA confirmation letter? Is it possible for my girl to change her CCA now?

RE: All About Violin Classes and Teachers
phankao:
I'm impressed! 3YO boy can do both piano and violin! I'm a FTWM and it's hard enough getting my 7YO to practise as we have a small window period after dinner to squeeze in homework and practice (plus dinner and bath)... my real problem now is how to even squeeze the time out for lessons for my 3.5YO (esp if we can't get someone to teach at home)...
Hah. I have 4 at home. The 3yo is our youngest. He's a copycat, that's why he's doing piano and violin. He also wants to do another instrument, but I think we'll wait until he's around 6 or 7yo. He should be able to pick that up quite quickly if so inclined by then.

phankao,
really?! thanks for the info abt mandeville…
Yah, I got ur info too… but location wise not very suitable for me…
Was hoping to get one good teacher can come to home to teach…
Maybe teach both at the same time… LOL! -
RE: All About Violin Classes and Teachers
Is there any school recommended for group violin class for 3.5YO?
I only know of Seimpi and Yamaha…
I also hope parents who managed to get their children to start violin at 3.5YO can share their experience on how to get it started pls! TQ! -
RE: All About Violin Classes and Teachers
I’m still looking for a violin teacher in SK area or can home teach… but wondering if my 3.5YO is too young? Though he can hold the pencil in the correct way since young, but he can’t really write properly…
Hope experienced parents can advise if I should start him on some group classes for some music background first or just straightaway get a 1-to-1 teacher?
If group classes, any recommendation which school or any contacts for good homebased ones? Thanks! -
RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight
Hi Ella,
How old is your girl? Is that a subsidised rate? Thanks. -

Pls share with me your doctor contact too... thanks!hi 8228
Your fees are exorbitant. My gal saw a senior consultant as a private patient and did many tests too... only in the $100++ range for first visit. Be careful not to go for doctors who appear on TV / newspapers too often... -
RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight
I’ve called but they said all children below 7YO will be treated as private patients, regardless whether there is a referral letter from Polyclinic or not? Is this true? Would like to check with any parents with experience. Thanks!

RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight
Hi,
I’d like to know where can I bring my 3YO child for an eye check? Find that the kid will watch shows at an angle and a little worried about lazy eye.
Thanks!
