RE: All About Abacus Training
There a new class in Bukit Batok starting on 3G abacus for P1-P6 children and I’m thinking of letting my kid try out… the trainer apparently has had been awarded best trainer for the program… problem is they have insufficient students to start the class… they need a minimum of 12 to start… currently have 5…
Pls PM me if you would like to have the link for more info… -
RE: All About Abacus Training
titank:
The Abacus started in mid Dec 2010 where teach in English. I find that CMA is rather expensive. CC charge me $10 for the book & the abacus!
Hi, I'm keen to know more about the one in the CC. Is there a lot of homework every week? English is it effective as I heard most abacus classes should be taught in Chinese? Pls share! Thanks!huskies:
I just signed up the abacus course at the CC. See how the progress after 10 sessions before deciding to switch other abacus provider.
Hi titank
I also signed my child up for abacus course at a CC but it is taught in chinese. Trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Learn abacus and at the same time have more Chinese language time. He prefers to communicate in English. Hope it doesn't backfire, i.e. can't understand the lesson!
Starts in Feb. When does the course start for your child? Will decide whether to join CMA after that. There's a branch near my place. -

RE: Raffles Girls' Primary
Does anyone travel from PIE exit Eng Neo to go to RGPS at 6.30pm? Does this route jam? The jam at Bukit Timah side is very bad and it took me 45min by exiting at Adam Road to just to make the U-turn back to Dunearn side to go into Hillcrest.
