True, It is always better to to do some work comparing prices....
when i travel europe, i notice booking.com tend to have better rates. China will be http://www.ctrip.com. Have also tried http://www.asiarooms.com , http://www.octopustravel.com.
If go to http://www.tripadvisor.com, you can search for the hotel and compare the prices from different hotel-booking websites.

Hello ,Hi Musicstar,
Here the entrance fee. I got the information from A farmosa via email.
Cowboy Town (Adult: 30, Child: 25 )
Water World (Adult: 30, Child: 25 )
Animal World (Adult: 38, Child: 28)
For the child below 3 feet high is free of charge.
We have postphoned our booking which suppose to be visit on 1 Jan 2011.Musicstar:
Can anyone advise how much is the entrance fee ticket for the animal world, cowboy town and water world? Can share the experience there. Tks
I just came back
Cowboy Town
==========
I believe the price quoted is purely entrance fee.
Adult package incl. Carnival+4D+Western Set Dinner $65RM
Child package incl. Carnival+4D+Weatern Set Dinner $60RM
IF you do not want dinner (worth $25RM) , you can deduct $20RM from the package.
Its no point visiting the Cowboy Town without seeing the Red Indian Show and Carnival. The whole place is quite old and run-down. A couple of the children's rides are not working. However we still enjoyed ourselves. The carnival (incl. animal parade, floats, fireworks) was the major highlight and very entertaining. The performers really worked their socks off, donning different costumes and came back to the parade as different characters. The 4D show (option of something underwater world or Haunted house) will be similar to shrek 4D at RWS Universal Studios. Sound effects and environment is inferior than that of RWS,however still good entertainment for us.
Water World + Safari
==============
We pay the package price for 2 parks. You would need to visit both parks on the same day (sufficient time). You will enjoy further discount if you visit all 3 parks on the same day.
Adult = 65RM (incl. set lunch)
Child = 51RM (incl. set lunch)
Safari :
There is quite a good variety of animals. Children can take pony/elephant/camel rides and pay for animal feeding (rabbits,sheeps,emus...etc) at reasonable price (as compared to the Singapore Zoo). You also get to sit in a caged truck/bus to see lions,tigers,giraffes....etcThe elephant show, animal show, wild wild west show (of course not as good as waterworld at Universal Studios) are also quite entertaining. You would notice some of the performers are the same people from the carnival show at cowboy town.
Water World :
Similar setup as Sunway Lagoon with wave pool, lazy river, some tube rides...etc. As my children are still young , we only played at the kid's adventure pool and wave pool. True as in some forums , the water world looks old, the water is not as clear and with leaves, people entering the pools with no proper entire. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed ourselves at the park.
In Summary, the 3 parks look old and run-down , but it is still very value for money, with the amount of entertainment and enjoyment you can get.
Would still highly recommend this for a short family getaway. -

I did not go the office. I booked by calling the Spore Number.Hi i just got the booking confirmation letter from A Farmosa. They ask me to bank in to CIMB or make paymt via credit card. You book via Spore office right?
I don't feel comfortable giving the credit card details (including the 3-digit code) by email , so i paid by cheque to a Maybank Account Number given by them. -

Hi mps112, i am planning to visit A farmosa next year. Can share how do you book the condotel? Do you have the contact of the condotel? tks
mps112:
Went aformosa 2years back with two toddlers. They enjoyed the trip to the safari and watched one of the evening performance. We missed the water theme park though it looked fun. There was an internal shuttle. We stayed at the condotel instead of the hotel as there was no swimming pool at the latter. The kids should love the place.

I had a good laugh at the fengshui and pixiu shop which the tour guide brought us to.Augmum:
so overall , din u bot lots of stuff bk ???
Think the PIXIU shop you n I visited is different. Only 1 master (think 50+ man) gave a presentation. Then several salespp came out to serve us.
I did not try the snowy mango
Didn't buy much either. Not much luggage space. Also dun know where the money went
The fengshui lady presenting, claimed their grand master is Zhuge Liang. She described Liu Bei, with the help of Zhuge Liang defeated Zhou Yu , advisor to Cao Cao and established the Han Dynasty.
Unfortunately i cannot share the joke with my family and other tour members. I guess most of them have not read the romance of 3 kingdoms, or have watched the Chi Bi movies.

I'm planning to go Taiwan on a package tour during the Dec school holiday. Anybody can advise which travel agent provide best Taiwan tour package? Thank you.
i suggest tour with Flying Cow Leisure Farm. Children will enjoy a lot at the farm, especially the feeding times. However be prepared that the sightings in package tour will be touch and go. -
RE: Travel: China - Shanghai
