P1 and P2 have LSP for maths and english. The weaker chn from each class (based on their class timetable) will be taken to another class to hv their lessons for either maths or english. This programme has been ongoing for at least the last 5 years.

There are teachers who also spent time with the chn during recess or after school to go through their works. (not all teachers are lack of compassion).
Feedback to the school if you have any queries or suggestions, or else how you expect the principal or vp to know what is going on in each class every day!

Supplementary classes :


P1 - P3 : None
P4 : 1 day per wk
P5 : 2 days per wk
P6 : 3 days per wk (2 days for EL/Maths/Sci) (1 day for MT)

classes commences on week 3 from 1.30 to 3pm.

MTS had these classes for the last 4 years.

I know they took Tumble Tot's unit, that's why I asked if it's 2nd floor. If on fourth floor means they took Shekinah Montessori's unit?

It's not true that eating lots of meat will put on weight. My DS's a meat-eater, chicken, pork, deer meat, beef and lamb and salmon with rice, still don't put on weight. All because of high metabolism. Being healthy is still the most important!! :lol:

Other than shyness, autism, there’s another area known as Selective Mutism.

Kids that are very noisy at home will become very quiet when they are outside the ‘home/parents’ environment.
They are not just shy, anxiety plays a part too.
Nobody can force a child to open up and talk. The child will talk when he or she is ready.
Selective Mutism is always treated as shyness by adults, but it goes beyond that.
Seeing a psychologist can assess the child.

This year, for p1 and p2, 1 cca each term. anyway, modular cca is probably still on a trial and error stage, where the sch gather feedbacks from kids and parents. next yr, no more swimming, though.

When a child don't pay attention in class, so don't understand and can't do his work. :?

When parents can't teach the child, the parents panic, thus send the child for tuition. But do the child pay attention during tuition lessons too?
Then parents blame school, blame teachers for setting high standard questions.
If neighbourhood school cannot set higher standard questions for exams, then we can presume all these kids will fail their PSLE. :?:
And MTS is a government-aided school, like all the other clan-related schools, MTS will have a higher standard and try to help the kids to do well for their PSLE. Ultimately, the kids are the ones sitting the exams, stress or no stress!!
