I had the misfortune of getting a maid who had no teeth and the few that she had were rotten and black. Sent her back to the agent within 24 hours as she couldnt even eat anything. I dont know how she passed her medical. Maybe they dont check the maid's teeth.

      Huh? No Teeth?
Maybe Need to FeedBack to MOM ....
And MOM Add ONE More Clause - Tell Agent to Check when Snap Photos ....
Smile BIG-BIG .... Oops .... No Teeth .... Sorry Cannot Go Spore!
      πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

The maid said that she lost her dentures in the training centre. But she was in so much pain. I really dont know how some of the maids get through the medical. if i had to take her to the dentist, it would have cost about 3 to 4 K to extract all the rotten teeth and do a full denture set. She was only 23 years old!

My 2nd maid was like that keep changing her mind too much draining whether we should look for new one or not.. too horrible.. finally we both mutually decided no cause she wanted to go back and get married... now that I kept a new one she keep calling that she wanna come back and all sob stories told her she oredi broke the trust and anyways happy with new one so she can somewhere else πŸ˜›

One of my maids was like that. The moment she came in she wanted to go back to her 2 year old son. For the next 11 months it was mental torture for us as she would go back and forth on wanting to go back and staying on to earn money. It came to a head when one day when we were going to go for our holiday she sat in the middle of the living room and wailed that it was unfair that she had to work and be seperated from her son while we were going to enjoy ourselves. I was so fed up that I booked a ticket immediately and packed her off.

Do you know when is the book fair? I have already sent the photo to the teacher.

      Cheers!

Hi Kanyaramesh, I know there is one tomorrow , is that the one u are talking about?

      Kit, cody,
I am still sourcing for costume. Will have to workout this weekend. Will let you know soon.

But what are they expected to do - any ideas?
DS said he has to say a few lines as the character . But am wondering is it within the classroom or in assembly hall? Assembly would be too intimidating to DS i think and he may just clamp up .

I think the one tmrw is for sale of books. They have one where the kids have to dress up as characters. I forgot when that is.

Oh so sad. The zoo trip was cancelled last minute due to the heavy downpour. the teacher called at about 11 am to inform the bad news. 😒

I understand that it will be postponed to after CNY.

Sun_2010: My boy is attending private swimming lessons on Sunday evening.

Tomorrow is CNY eve and my poor boy has to wake up at about 5.30 am. School van will pick him up at about 6.15 am.

I have bought a set of traditional costume for him to wear tomorrow, what about all of you?

gOnG xI fA cAi in advance. πŸ™‚
Yes it was very sad for the kids when they cancelled the trip yesterday. I had taken leave to be a parent volunteer and was getting ready to leave when I received a call around 11.30 to say that the trip was cancelled. So after dropping of my disappointed DS I went to work.

DS will be wearing a traditional costume. Only feel that the school shoes will clash with the outfit :)(that is Mummy being vain; don't think the kids care!). Don't know how I can going to get him to wake up so early in the \"dark dark morning\" ( as DS calls it).

Which class is your son in? Mine's in I Diligence.

      calling 2011 P1 parents...

in the orientation booklet, under Appendix C, we need to submit the whole list of books/files to the form teacher. anyon can advise if the books can be handed over to the teacher by us or need to be by the kids themselves? cannot imagine the small little frame carrying so many books/files, doubt the sch bag can fit all, hv not tried though. πŸ˜›
I managed to fit in all the books but the bag is very heavy. I imagine it will be heavier with the water bottle etc. Maybe we can help the child carry the bag to class bec i dont think my DS will be able to stand very long with the heavy bag on his shoulders.
