Hey what about Father In Law? Mine is not too bad. Thou 100% hen peck by MIL :stupid:, I can tell fm his small little gestures that he has accepted me as part of the family. For that, I will \"openly\" shower him with words of concern (also purposely make my MIL jealous lah :cheeky: Mua ha ha ha ha ha  )

• RE: Extra Marital Affair
This applies to women too.. When they marry the first guy they meet, they also end up in EMA more easily.
I knew of an ex colleague who has several EMA without being caught by her husband and children at all! Every evening, there would b a luxury car waitin for her a few meters away from the work place. The \"mysterious\" guy would at times sent her to work and saw her šŸ’‹ him goodbye. Over the yrs, a few colleagues had spotted her with a few different men behaving affectionately but nobody dare to \"intrude\" into her affairs.... Another colleague who knew her husband told us that he is a nice guy who holds quite a high position in a govt related Corp. and is always busy at work ... Even then, he would spend every weekends with the family and played with the kids...
Perhaps she did it out of boredom, or perhaps she just want to \"prove\" she is still attractive or perhaps perhaps perhaps.......

*PS. Anyway, saw her the other day and she still looks happy but this time is with her teenage kids!

In a way, its nice to know that he insists that I should be the last and first face he sees whenever he leaves/returns home. Its one of the ways that makes me feel wanted and that he is kinda emotionally dependent on me too.
In fact, we keep in touch several times a day via smses or calls.

:offtopic: I never bothered to step out of my room to say goodbye to my dad when he left for KL. Two days later, he passed away in a fatal hit and run accident there. The feeling of regret really gnaws at me whenever I think about it.
That is one of my greatest fear too! I always remind him to drive safely and at times give him a šŸ’‹ before he leaves for work....

• RE: Your relationships with siblings

Hi \"carebear\",

I ain't no socialite or a rich Tai tai. My lifestyle is not as extravagant as u thought.
Holding a gathering at my place is just a mean to bring the siblings together..Tried suggesting Pot Luck but there is always excuses like \"no time to cook\", \"I only know how to cook curry chicken leh\" or worst \"So troublesome ah then don't come lo!\"
Is not possible to gather everybody in a fast food restaurant cos' I have 5 siblings exclude nieces+nephews..... šŸ˜‰

No doubt financially I am more stable then them but does not mean I do not have my difficult moments. Yet the presumption is \"oh sis got a lot of money there is no problem for her\" !: .... perhaps when we all grow up, all became selfish in one way or the other.
DesertWind: U really speak up how I feel for all these yrs šŸ˜ž

Cherrygal: Yes u r right, I'm not alone cos' I hv found a soulmate-DH. He is not the romantic type but a man u can count on in times of trouble and sadness

• Your relationships with siblings

My parents passed away many yrs back and me being the youngest ,I hv always yearn for a close knit relationship with my siblings. But at times, I felt they have \"exploited\" my good intention and expect me to host gathering and functions with no intention of going on dutch or pot luck. (They even expect me to \"ferry\" them around to run errands...) And when I needed little favours from them like \"babysitting\" my kids for a while they will :siam: and give all kind of lame excuse for not helping :stupid:

Sometimes I felt so \"taken advantage\" of but I always remind myself not to b too \"petty\" since they are afterall my only bros and sis by blood šŸ˜ž
