Hi, I need some advice here. My daughter is a Singaporean but she only eligible to register in phase 2C.

Here is the schools nearby where we stay

      - Schools within 1km:
      1. East Spring Primary school

      - Schools between 1-2km
      1. Angsana primary school
      2. Chong Zheng primary school
      3. Gong Shang primary school
      4. Pasir Ris primary school
      5. White Sands primary school
      6. Yumin Primary school

I don't really prefer East Spring so I am thinking to choose among - Chong Zheng, Gong Shang, Pasir Ris or White Sands. But i guess these schools would require ballot even for SC between 1-2km, am I right? Can anyone advise which school we stand higher chance of admission during phase 2C? Thank you in advance.
You don't stand a chance with the 4 schools based on historical stats. Angsana and Yumin is your only choices if you don't want East Spring.

    • RE: [Tampines] Tutors/Tuition Centres/Enrichment

Looking for home tutor for my P3 girl. She is very resistant and hates Maths with a passion. We need a tutor to help her overcome her fear and hatred for the subject and of course, for us to see decent results. Any recommendation is appreciated. Thank you!

      Hi parents,

Does any1 of you register Yumin's student care (big heart) for 2019 P1?
How was Big Heart student care?
Their pick up time is only applicable hourly, which is very inconvenient for parent want to pick up anytime. Anyway can make them re-consider this practice? this is turn me down to put my gal in their student care! :S
My P2 girl will be new to the student care next year. During briefing, the in-charge explained that the hourly pickup is actually an improvement from previously when the kids were only send out last couple of hours.

For security reason, they can't keep allowing parents to go in to pickup. It will be disrupting to send the kids out more frequently.

I think every half hourly is good enough even if it's not the most convenient. But if you're going to always pick up at a fixed time that is not the designated pickup timing, I'm sure it can be arranged. You can speak to the in-charge 🙂

For me, having a huge compound to move around and carry out activities far outweighs the inconvenience of hourly pickup. Can't have it all.

Hi parents, anyonr can provide reviews for Moriah Childcare at Simei? I have registered my interest with the centre for my girl, K1 in 2019 as I prefer a church setting but I’d like to have reviews which is very much lacking. Thanks in advance!

Now that you said it, it does sound shocking if it's true. I didn't think this way through...I thought it was to see if the P1, P2 students are eligible to join CCA early because during our time, we didn't join a CCA till P4! Could it be trial to join the school team? By right they should have more kids to form a reserve or recreation team, no?

At least boys have 2 to choose from. Girls only have netball. The team is not too bad, consistently 4th in East zone. But then my girl doesn't want.
