As long as your child is toilet trained and 3 and above, she is able to join Foundation. But i know some centres who accepts 2.5 years as long as they are ready.

I find LCentral Thomson not bad as well if Kovan is too far for you. My gal is in Teacher Sarah class and she enjoys her class each time she is there. Teacher Sarah has lots of experiences teaching young children and i guess thats why she has her ways of engaging the child in her classes.
Worth to give it a try.

Personally I feel LCentral focus more on the child’s phonemic awareness (Foundation has to be strong) and this is important for the child when he learns how to read. Whereas ICR can be just touch and go kind.
Does your child already know his/her phonics like 1st sound, last sound, middle sounds etc? Has he/her attended any pre-schools or enrichment?
My gal who attends LCentral classes since she was 3 has the Foundation and now she is in the LiftOff program which is a structured 33 lessons sessions, I can see she knows her words well and can read rather well which is what LiftOff program is all about.
For ICR, I put my gal there when she was 3 for 1 term and find that she doesn’t enjoy her sessions and hence switch to LCentral.

English enrichment focus mainly on reading for child age 3-5. Only till 6 and above, they will teach them to write ie write in sentences and paragraphs. When they are little, writing is in the form of single word or phase.

My gal is about to graduate from the LiftOff class at LCentral Thomson.

She joined when she was about 4 years old. Quite worried that she cannot catch up as she cannot really read then. However, now she is able to pick up a book and read. She is 6 this year. So I would say LCentral program is good for my kids.
