Hi A better tomorrow,

Appeal to PLMGS not successful. Dd was a bit disappointed initially, now she is happy settling down in Dunman.

Hi,

Dd was posted to Dunman Sec but dream school is PLMGS (her 1st choice). She is 1 point away from the PLMGS COP.

Currently waiting for PLMGS reply on appeal which only out on 31st Dec (according to school).

Appreciate if anyone have any idea on how good are these 2 schools in terms of school’s academic performance and school environment ?

Thanks in advance.

That’s the problem, there is 50-50 chance.

The book store and uniform at the allocated school only open till 30th Dec. If appeal not successful, I got no time to purchase the books and uniform, and the school open on 2 Jan…

Submitted appeal to Paya Lebar Methodist Girl last Friday. Dd was 1 point away from the COP. Was told by the staff that appeal result will be release earliest on 26th Dec, and latest by 31st Dec.

Called PLMGS this morning, was told the result will only be out on 31st Dec !!
Really don’t know what to do now, should I wait or not ?

Wow, it is a great news that no audition for guitar club ! Checked this year CCA timetable for guitar - 2 times a week, each time 4 hrs I think. Hmmm, quite "siong" leh …

Thanks again A Better Tomorrow. My girl is interested in Guitar but she does not have any background on Guitar. That’s why I am asking whether is there audition.

Thanks A Better Tomorrow !

Any ideas how about the CCA ? Any audition required to enter any performing arts CCA ?

My dd was posted to Dunman Sec. May I know how is the school there, in terms of students and teachers, environment ?

Also, saw previous post about the shoes, is it true it must be canvas white shoes ?
