Chill

I think funnydaddy is just speculating on the Top Scorer.

My speculation: If every subject is easy, likely that the Top Scorer is a non-Chinese of any nationality.

To me, being the Top Scorer is no big deal. It's just a PSLE. Relatively ranking of 12 yo in Singapore only. No difference between a 280 and a 266. Both get to choose whatever sec school they wanna go to (provided haven't accepted dsa into '2nd choice')
Yeah, but that is to you. The scores may mean quite a lot to us 12 year olds out there.

For the airmail question, ‘Mass Step’ (which was in the table) means part thereof. Thus, 3 is wrong and 4 is correct.

If a paper is hard the good students and the bad students will benefit. If it is easy then only the average students will benefit.

Second highest is 292 in 19xx. I forgot.

Shld the calculator fail to work in the midst of the exam tomorrow, tell the child not to be afraid or panick. Quickly, raise the hand and ask the invigilator for help. School should have some calculators to lend to the students.

My school says they will not be providing calculators as it is our exam.

      Then change batteries NOW.

I do not have the extremely thin screwdriver

Then get your parents to get it... it's essential.
Almost forgot this: make sure all stationery for Maths are inside the school bag tonight. no rush in the morning = a calmer disposition to sit for the paper.

      SG future leaders ?!?!?!
No choice..is the T score formula that make them think that way.
As a parent, dont we think we have to inoculate kids the right values from young ?
Yes, definitely.. I only told my children how to arrive at that score..by giving examples..if he his marks = average marks for all 4 subjects, he only got 200 using that formula.
But then he would know that his friends need to do badly so that the average is lower.
