[quote=\"CatMoon\"]Went through this thread and wanted to contribute that I have FINALLY found a tutor (small tuition centre in Bedok South) to teach my Sec 4 dd SS and History! Saw improved results after 2 months after she had been failing these two subjects since Sec 3. He is a current humanities teacher and I am so grateful. He teaches my dd the different answer formats - he has prepared his own printed resources and every lessons they go through different topics answering SBQs. He's very patient!
Hi
Can share with me the contact of your history tutor ? Thanks Ton !

RE: Dropping 'O' level subjects
Ds plans to drop two combined humanities subjects for ‘O’ levels. Can anyone advise if producing an MC would be acceptable and will the results slip show a dash or "U"? And how would this affect him in the future? Is it a good strategy to channel one’s effort towards subjects that they are more confident in? I am against the idea but he stands very firm by his decision. Appreciate if someone could share. Thank you.

RE: Tuition / Enrichment at Secondary level
Hi, need a good pure physics and chemistry tutor with proven track record for DS for his o levels this year. Prefer to go to tutor’s place in the east. Any recommendation? Tks

RE: Mrs Lee Math Tuition - Discussion
Elder son improved from 30+ to A in psle 2 years ago. Younger son joined in March this year after his CA1 marks dropped. He has improved from A to A* and topped his class for SA1, in less than 3 months. His confidence level has gone up which I think it is important as he is in P6 now.
Feedback from both boys is that her methods are effective. To me, she does not only deliver but also motivates my children to scale greater heights in psle.
Highly recommended! -
RE: Comparing Science Enrichment Programs
Hi, kindly advise the following:
1. Schedule for P5
2. Fees
3. How many students in a class
4. How many of your students scored A* and A and their aggregate for PSLE 2011
5. Method of teaching, notes
thanks!jtparent:
hi,
People always comment that it is challenging and tough to teach your own children. It is not easy to be a loving parent and at the same, an effective tutor. I make it again this year. Both my children score A* in their PSLE Science.moirwong:
