Whatever it is, the next gen shd be able to afford decent home ownership. Taking a 5r bto in woodlands (already considered a very ulu location) also cost $400+-$500+. The govt has also worked out based on such cost, to finance this over 25y, the couple need to fork out $1000+ per mth after paying almost $90k+ of down payment. If u work out the sums, you understand why they need more money. And why 5r? Because hdb are getting smaller and smaller and you don’t want couple to run out of space when they got kids or have flexi work arrangements at home.

You need to buy a 5 room bto / resale, not a 3 room hdb flat because

1) when your kids are born, children need a room of their own, to keep their own privacy, have their own study table / clothes cupboard, closet, etc.

2) sometimes, the maid whom u hired to look after your young toddlers / children, also need a room to herself too.

3) sometimes, your kids or you (parent) may catch a new strain of covid virus from schools / work place, need to be isolated at home, to prevent the further risk of spreading the virus to your family members.

They can do random spot check, at your house. There are observant \"spies\" around inside the primary school, to spot check on address tallying. You won't know who these \"spies\" are. But, they exist. Especially for highly popular or in-great-demand primary schools, where kids are registered under Phase 2B and Phase 2C.

If u are not staying there, the Primary 1 school Form Teacher will ask your P1 (son / daughter) where he / she is staying now. If you fail to get in at Sec 1 (IP) through your PSLE results, there is still second chance (opportunity) at the end of Sec 2 streaming. So many IP schools do accept students in for
Transfer at the end of their Sec 2, to start Sec 3 (IP), if u so truly desire IP and can pass their end-of-Sec2 IP entrance subject tests.

SST doesn't require students to send in any Personal statement.

All you need to do, is to pass their Round 1 test, first. If u fail Round 1, then cannot proceed to Round 2.

Round 2 Is the one, that involve interview test.

trials will start in end of June or July onwards , when Term 3 open.
