Verysuperkiasu:That is what I am doing too. I don't have a maid so I am doing the washing and ironing, except when my part-time helper comes on Tues. I think with sweat and dirt all that it is better to change everyday.I bought 3 sets too....weekend iron all 3 sets....last from mon to wed. Monday and Tuesday's uniform must wash when ds comes back so that it can dry and be ironed for Thurs & Fri. DH suggested letting him put on the same uniform for 2 days but I find when he comes back, the pants (backside part) a bit black - he said got to sit on the floor. So yes, got to put on clean ones everyday.polkadots:DS said they have to wear uniform coming to school and going back home, otherwise they get \"booked\". we bought 3 sets so that means have to wash and iron everyday! :yikes:
How many sets of uniform did u buy?

use hot glue. Sure stay.
Velcro, lah. The double-side tape kind, not the sew-on kind.MummySTay:
I was thinking that maybe blutack or double sided tape can work just as well...
You're going to sew the curtains yourself? Wah!
Yes. It is so costly to customise and the shops don't have the fabric I like. So I bought the fabric myself and DIY loh.
Have always admired those who have such skills as yours.
I can only sew simple stuff like a loose button!
I am an amaturer. I do a lot of research and planing before I started. Plenty of demo on you tube.
Anyway people won't come really close to judge good is your skill. So long as it ends up looking like a piece of curtain I think I do a good job. :imanangel: -

Verysuperkiasu:
It is only the first day so it is not unusual not to know others yet. He will soon make new friends. Tell him not to worry too much.
He said no one talked to him. I told him to make the attempt to talk to others first. Like you said, maybe it's the first day. Hopefully, things will be better for him soon. I want him to be happy in his school.Ms tay:
Vsk , don't be so dishearten...today is just the 1st day of sch , everyone is like strangers to him , I think after a few weeks later when he makes new friends he will be alright ... -
