If you were not in GEP, then secondary cannot take GE? Or can apply?

RI has SBGE ie school based GE. The school's pedagogy is same as GEP. Within the school, there are about 7 GEP classes. With your high score, you may be allocated one of these classes ie study with GEPpers.

My DS is GEP going to RI. Will he be in GEP class?
We are appealing becos of ds's WL fr DSA and he is in GEP. Since we have gone so in the dsa journey just want to complete the last possible step. We are thinking of doing so for NUSH and NJC too. Jusst want to have closure for the near 5 months of DSA process.

      ngbrdad,

My DS was on RI WL via DSA. Fortunately it got converted to CO. So I can perfectly understand the agonizing process and wait you are going through. I would do the same if I were you.

Thanks. In the end it was like a wight hanging in your mind.
When we saw DS's result slip we quickly opened the S1 posting letter but could not find anything. After looking thru a few times then saw the words you are not successful in your DSA application. Then for a moment the mind just went blank.

Must go thru the whole process again in 2013 for DS2..............
Your DS2 also in GEP?
Thanks Ms Tay šŸ™‚ my dd only p4 this year, am not in a position to give any advice, hence only can be a silent reader. I hv gained lots from helpful n experienced parents here n really appreciate. I too understand that sometimes disagreements r inevitable, everybody is just here to share n learn from one another. :salute: especially to those parents whose kids r no more in primary but still willing to contribute their knowledge here, thanks all for the time n effort. :lovesite:

This is the main reason why I like this site soooo much !!! everyone here r very friendly and selfless we can get a lot of updated information from here .And many of them r very knowledgeable , I hv learnt a lot fr them . I wish one day I will be qualify to contribute my knowledge here too.

Haha šŸ˜‚ welcome. Have you bought uniforms already?

Not yet. Think better don't buy so early. Holidays still not over. Put on weight and he won't fit into the new uniform. šŸ˜†

      Have you bought yours?
