Due to my work, I travel to China very often. I can tell you...if this guy consider us as dogs, then I am sure in his heart he sure despise his countrymen very very much. In fact, I guess he despise himself so much that he started to insult other people due to his inferiority complex.

      kitcat:
I feel DS always has tests and I become not knowing when they test what, and only know what they had been tested when DS come back and tell me the test scores, and DS now become does not allow me to check his homework unless he has difficulty and wants my help...I feel I soon become out of the picture liao...

      Are your DSs like that?
Kitcat, don't worry. Your DS is not the only one like that. My DS seldom tell us that he has test or the test scores. I often get updated on what is happening from this forum and then ask him for further information. He said sec is very different from primary sch. The teacher don't ask them to get parent's signature on test papers. He seems to be enjoying school and cca. So I guess things should be ok.

      Paddy Field:
He is curious in e beginning ... But he may not be able to do certain activities in red cross due to his medical condition. So not sure how it will affect his ranking promotion. He's also in a dilemma

May be he can talk to the teacher-in-charge to find out more.

      What was his first choice?

basically to find out whether they need help to be at the same pace with the GEP background kids in the same class

they will be told what they have not done yet as a non-GEP students and if they need help, help is available from the teachers

there will be periodic meet up and feed back until the boys are confirmed no problem adapting to the GEP pace

Thank you, vk2010. It's comforting to know that mainstreamers are not left alone to :imdrowning: .

RI takes well care of mainstreamers !
