That’s the problem … girls school then become not so self-aware. So must ban them from shorts to learn!

😂😂 now we’re starting to get into the realm of the unspeakables .... 😂😂

Hi octbride, I got them from Rakuten Japan. If you google “sanitary panties” you should get quite a few hits. Locally I think the Laurier brand carries some, but I like the Pied Clair brand made for teenages.

I actually bought those anti-leak undies. The white skirt is an accident waiting to happen.

You know, I discourage wearing shorts under the school skirt because it forces them to sit like a lady should. Also, with the many pleats in the skirt, the amount of fabric makes the skirt very hot to wear … add the shorts and it is like an oven down there.

Hi All, can I ask what is the number of PE shirts/shorts actually needed per week? Where would we normally get CCA tees??

      Hi everyone,

Can I ask, for the Sec 1 registration day, are parents allowed/expected to attend?

Let us be very honest here.

This kid is going to fail, BIGLY. She is so going to fail even before the PSLE has even started, never mind she could probably do well, because you know, prelim is the real key to success.

Given that this kid is so going to fail. She can fail in two ways: head to the school with the CO and fail BIGLY, exiting in Y4 to one of the polys or ITE, or she can go to one of the OP schools and fail BIGLY, leaving after O Level to one of the polys or ITE. Either way, she’s so going to fail. Sad.

If she wants to fight, I mean we shouldn’t recommend that option because you know, prelim being the predictor and all that, I know where she would rather be.

Leo Tolstoy said “we very early said to ourselves that we had lost the battle, and so we had.” He also said “Prelim and PSLE t-score is not necessary the determinant of success when fighting the battle.”

      Floppy, you’re so bigly hilarious.

      I'm deadly serious here.

Imagine the horror of horrors when a 200-210 student survive and did well in IP (p/s: relatively speaking, anything more than BBC/C would be an OVER-achievement for a 200-210 student). I mean, this will destroy every single belief system of the kiasu parents with over-tuition-ed kids scoring 250+. This is NOT how meritocracy is supposed to work. 200-210 students are supposed to head to OP and one of the polys or ITE 🤷
Late developer?
I hv a DSA sports child so I can empathise with the mom. The thing is, these girls just wanna enter the dream sch, not just to “win medals” for the sch, it is also to train alongside like-minded peers who are probably also ranked in their games. That camaraderie feeling is very strong. I feel it is very cruel to crush the girl’s dream without even letting her try whether she can suit the sch pace or not. But shd pre-empt the girl that there might be a possibility that she might need to leave the sch if really cannot and there should be nothing shameful about that. Just make sure the girl knows all of these before accepting the CO.

Spot on. Her kid wants to go because of the team mates and coach.

I've already told the mom the worst case scenario. But like u said, it's cruel to crush her dreams without trying.
