Jinglebells:Hiccas also have high standards and if you arent good enuf you get kicked out(not ug) or for performing arts ccas I got kicked out from syf cos i wasnt good enough.Cough cough.Where did all those syf distinctions even come from huh?Teachers are also mostly boring and sometimes noone understands their lessons and just look at textbooks or other material(but they still score better than me despite complaining about how hard tests are)
Why did I lose that one mark?I was so careless I could have gotten full marks!
Me:I need one mark to pass.Just give me that one mark!
Also, smart kids are usually popular with both classmates and teachers. They have lots of friends and teachers like them.Everybody wants to befriend them.

Poet2010:queensotong,:?queensotong:[quote=\"WeiHan\"]Personally, I don't use an ipad but it seems very common and a trend that cannot be avoided.
I was abit surprised that even my 3 years old niece is using ipad to watch her cartoon and playing with some animation games and learning stuffs....She knows how to scroll and get to all the apps that she wants at this age.
What has your 3 years old niece can use an ipad got to do with the problem of our child get hooked up too much by the ipad and adversely affected their results?
WeiHan:I was just saying that it looks like an irreversible trend..even 3 years old are using ipad...I really have a 3 years old niece and I don't meant to be sarcastic.:?queensotong:[quote=\"WeiHan\"]Personally, I don't use an ipad but it seems very common and a trend that cannot be avoided.

Poet2010:If that is the case, how can I go about informing the school regarding opting out of the IPad 1:1 programme?
......
If your kid lacks the self-discipline in the use of the IPad, it's of utmost priority as parents to institute strict usage protocol of the mobile technology. Else, you should have opt out of the IPad 1:1 programme and loan the unit for use in school as mentioned by the former principal.
All programme and workplan instituted by the school would not be successful without the unyielding support of both parents and students.
A thinker for thoughts.
onemore:Totally agree with the above points. Evertime I go for parent meeting, he is just :censored:
......
As a parent of my child in this school, he is a disgrace to the good name of RVHS; all the good years and accomplishments put in by the school is tarnished by him.
He has no respect for ...... and parents; ......
HCI done the right thing to kick him out of their school early in his career, ......
Just wounder does it has anything got to do with the IPad programe.
