What do you think of lego sets? I see lego have quite a bit of interesting stuff. And it's reminisce of childchood for me as well. XD

Lego sets are great, they are very expandable, older lego sets will never be left aside and forgotten because with imagination your child can always find a way to intergrate whatever he has together.

    • RE: is it possible to make Maths enjoyable?

Usually kids only hate maths because they’re not good at it. Once they start to get better, the satisfaction they get from solving a question will make them start to love it more. Just be patient and practice a little bit every day, topic by topic.

    • RE: Good at reading but poor at spelling

      kaisuparents:
My DD, currently in P1 is good at reading, can read independently but very bad at spelling. She tends to write simple words incorrectly. E.g: bird => brid, dirty => drity, stripes => strips

Is her issue with phonics, is she unable to break the word into syllables and spell it.
Can anyone suggest any good iOS apps to make her practise spelling and phonics.
      Thanks in Advance
typing into any software like microsoft word may be useful, since they underline all the errors and she will have to think for herself what is wrong.

Although some courses may have low cut offs, it may not necessarily mean it is a good course, some are just very popular because they seem fun, for example Mass comm, may not necessarily be that good in terms of job demand in the future
