Time has flies and its the 4th Year that my boy has persevered and marching on.
SGPS has been a wonderful journey for him and he has been enjoying his schooltime.
Seeing him grown and adapting at each phase of primary school life is amazing.
I think in my own 2 cents opinion is the school create and provide opportunities for kids to learn. In an all boys environment, no doubts, mischief is part of the package as each individual kid is different. However, I have also seen dedicated teachers in the school in upholding self-discipline as a key to the kid development.
Though, academically, the school may not seemed to be a top achiever kind, but again, what are our expectations of the kid determine which school he ended up in. Let the kid enjoy the process is most important and I am sure he will learn along the way. Remember you were once like him, if you want him to be like you, do your ways. Also keep in mind, you have your weaknesses too, don't expect he will not be like you too. All things being said, SGPS has a good track record and rich history and I would conclude that being a small community of 150 pupils per cohort has its advantages and disadvantages. If you boy is adventurous, I believed he will enjoy it.
Finally wishing all both current and new parents who have or wishes to have their boy to SGPS a great time and experience with your dearest boy.

RE: St Gabriel's Primary
Hi to all parents.
Hope all boys are doing well in SGPS especially for those who enter their 1st year.
As the CNY celebration is still underway, many may still be hanging moods of the festive.
Next as usual will be the coming CA1, and all parents especially those who are with the school for few years will know its going to be a drilling time. While we work hard with the boys, donโt forget to also encourage them when they cannot meet expectations. Continue to walk with them and set realistic goals for them to achieve.
Have fun and enjoy the process.
Cheers to all SGPS parents. -

Those who are Singapore citizens, you can be comfortably assured a place in Phase 2C based on past years registration.
Good luck and enjoy the process and journey with your DD. Hope you will join CHIJ KC community soon. Cheers! -
RE: St Gabriel's Primary
Last 3 years all Singaporeans managed to enrol successfully in phase 2C. No need to PV.

RE: St Gabriel's Primary
Hi all,
Hope all are well and in less than a month, our kids will be heading back to school and will be exciting for those who are joining the P1 cohort in 2016.
Everyone should have bought your books and stationaries, bags and shoes etc.
I like to share my own personal experience watching my DS in SGPS. I firmly believed this is a good school and definitely has fit my DS. He had enjoyed very much and over the years watching him grew and learning, building his self-confidence was relieving. Though there will be times when challenges sunk in or he may had faced difficulties in solving problems, those were just a part of the process of learning.
Give your utmost support and love in area of his interest. The school has many activities and good teachers that could render the assistance to our child. For those who entering P1, enjoy the moments of a new chapter for your boy. Its the beginning of a journey. Do not stress out but embrace the exciting times you will be facing soon. Let the nature takes it course while as parent, give the fullest support and encouragement in due course.
May the Lord continues to bless all of us and our children in SGPS.
Have a wonderful holiday as we march into 2016 with our children.
Cheers!
