are the kids allow to put their books in school?
Yes some of the workbooks will be kept by teachers.samihiap:
would any parents here whose boys are already in stgps know how heavy is the school bags for p1?
For your info, it can be quite heavy for a P1 boy.
If they have CCA which require equipment, that particular day will be extra load for the boy. -

RE: St Gabriel's Primary
Welcome all interested parents to enrol your boy to sgps.
For Singaporean, it has been pretty safe for last few years enrollment.
Non alumni Singaporeans, hopefully this year will be lucky as previous as phase 2C all Singaporeans got in without balloting regardless distance.
I wish all of you the best and may we soon meet and our children knowing one another not only in school but also our community.
Cheers to all.

The bus fee is $237 for Punggol.derberg:
If u take taxi from punggol, it's approx 12km n cost ard $18-20 (includes taxi booking). If you take school bus, pickup is ard 6.00-6.15am. Return home around 3-3.30pm.
Hi Derberg,
Thanks for the information! Do you have any idea what are the charges for school bus? R u staying at punggol as well? Which level is your son at?
We target to leave punggol at 6:45am next year when he goes to P1.
Pickup is from 0555hrs for 1st pickup point in Punggol.
Drop from from school is at 1425hrs onwards.
Morning traffic to school via SLE - CTE exit braddell would be the fastest route. It takes about 15-20 mins to reach school. -

As the school parking space is pretty limited, traffic may be slightly heavy. During open house, u will experienced packed carpark and if u drive, u may encountered other cars blocking u when u wants to leave. However, please be patient as everyone is eager to know the school to give their child a good place to study and play.Hi there,
how is the traffic outside the school in the mornings
as we do not live nearby and are wondering about it?
thanks!
Will be going for the open house end at the of the month and looking forward to it.
Normal school days, before 7am, traffic is always fine.
After school hours, at 1315hrs, parents picking up their children will filled the carpark and traffic will be heavy once the children are released from school.
Also the school will be building a multi-purpose hall in the near future on the existing carpark space and so we may experienced further traffic and carpark issues when it's ready. But putting that aside, sgps has a good environment if u wants your son to enjoy and learns. So far my boy has been enjoying himself very well and he is able to adapt to his environment pretty well.
Go and experience the open house and see the vibrant and exciting atmosphere of the school which I think you will enjoy.
Cheers and have fun.
