Hi all, my boy is SG50 and we currently have 2 options, Hong Wen within 1km and St Andrews 1-2km. We will be in Phase 2B for ST andrews due to religion background but I will still attempt to apply for PV at Hong Wen due to it being within 1km from our place.

What do you guys think of our chances at St Andrews for 2B 1-2km? Do you think we will be squeezed out due to distance or its a shoo-in. I have checked the stats for 2018 (dragon babies) and St Andrews only required balloting for more than 2km at Phase 2B.

Schools that require balloting are updated on the MOE website.

How come the schools due for balloting are not out on MOE website yet?

Is there any way besides calling the school to find out if there was balloting required for St Andrews Junior in Phase 2B last year? And if yes, was balloting done for less than 1km, 1-2km or more than 2km?

Hi, does the statistics include distance? Like for eg for St Andrews Junior, there were 64 applied but only 48 got in. Does the 64 include applicants 1-2km and beyond 2km?

Hi all..am staying in Punggol. Only within 1-2km from nan chiau( preferred sch). Wife’s primary school alumni is Hong Wen school. Not sure if should try balloting for nan chiau under the 1-2km category(which I think will be very over subscribed) or just go for Hong Wen.
