I also give my maid kaya, butter, nutella, peanut butter or jam with a loaf of bread every week. This way you will not have to crack your brain what to buy for breakfast everyday. Sometimes I noticed she fried egg and wrap with bread.


I also buy coffee and biscuit for her. This is for her snack time.

I just want to check normally what time does your maid \"knock off\" from work everyday. Mine everyday 8.30pm she will be in her room. And she still complain my Hse too big??!!

Mine knock off at 9pm, she will be in her room reading bible and she also complain can't handle. Previous maid can worked until midnite no complain. Why can't she(the new maid) handle when she is free at 9pm?

I had rejected the \"change job 5 times but bluff me 2 times\" maid after all the kind advices given. That one ready sound bad.

So now, the agency Recommended a 38 yr old maid who worked in hong kong and willing to take $500, with 2 off day.
Is this too good to be true?
My friend told me its common to get those ex- middle east coz their condition there is bad. So to them spore is an upgrade.

I am changing job soon and I cannot afford to have any hiccups at home. My new boss probably won't allow me to take leave during probation.

I had a maid whos worked in hong kong before. Her attitude was very bad so 2 mths later I returned her to agency. Heard that she worked 7~9mths later the new empolyer \"fired\" her and now she is back to her home town.

I found abit weird, so I asked her what she wants me to do. She said, I just want to \"highlight\" to you cos I might carries virus which I dunno and might pass it to your sons. After hearing, I am very sure and confirmed that she made up the story herself by pinching her hands. Then she can go back to agent don't want to look after my sons. I told her that will inform the agent.

Next day, she told me can't work and want to go back to agent. I called the agent and she got scolded by the agent. Strange, after scolding, she was happier and kept saying sorry to me and promised to work for my family. So, everything’s went smoothly during CNY.

My worries finally arrived last evening, she told me again wanted to go back to the agent.

One of my friend brought her new maid to my house and the two maids were chatting in the kitchen. As I know that the maids like to gossip, so I asked my friend's maid to come out and look after my friend's son.

Too my shock, my friend's maid(3 days later) told my friend she can't sleep must tell my friend that my maid asked for help. She told my friend my maid complained that she goes to bed every nights at 1am and wake up 530am....

The worse part was she told my friend that I scolded my maid by pointing middle finger and scold her vulgar language :yikes:

I am very :stompfeet: cos all the above is not true...my maid finished the housework around 9 to 10pm, and went to bed around 11am. Everynights I will ask her to sleep earlier but she replied,\"mdm, I don't sleep so early, normally I sleeps at 12am+\". When I heard that, I told her cannot cos morning she needs to wake up at 530am to 6am. So, she will sleep around 11am.

Now who is lying? What should I do now?

Just want to share my story again :

I fired the maid and got a new maid last mth (waited 2 mths). She is 27 years old and has 3 daughters, age : 6, 3, 2 years old. I tot with 3 kids, she can take care of my 2 sons...but I was wrong.....she can't even take care of them.

When she was with me a week, she cried and told me wanted to go back Philippines cos she misses her kids and will ask her MIL (50 yrs old) to replace her :slapshead: I had a talked with her and she decided to work again and I let her called home.

She told when she was in Philippines, she wanted to \"back out\" during her POEA seminar. But the agency in Singapore told her that she can't \"back out\" must come and will help her when she is in Singapore.... :rant: So I called the agency and scolded them what kind of promised she give to the maid. Now she don't want to work.

Few days later, she asked me whether she can let her call home evernight? After consideration (cos she misses her kids) I agree to let her call back once a week and she agreed.

More problems coming......

1. She asked for off day after her loan finished.
2. She want to watch TV
3. She want to go out with us...hinting...she is lonely when alone in the house.

Last week, she told my mum can't cope if my mum goes back to work. Oh man, she only looking after my 2 kids.....Finally, last Sat she said want to go back agency. I was really pissed off and told her off.

Had a talk with my hubby, no more maid in our house once this maid transfer. :imcool:

I would definitely choose my parents over hubby's parents anytime. Reason is simple, my parents are the ones who care and love my kids more than his.

my personal thoughts, i will rather get a totally fresh NEW maid than those with experience in HK, Saudi, MY or SG. Yes, need to be very very very patient with totally NEW maid but at least their attitude will not be bad as those so called \"experienced\" maids....

Agree about the slow part. My indo maid walk very slowly whether doing housework or going shopping with us. She just simply don't like to rush but on her off day she very fast in getting ready to go out.
