I love my bread maker. Very useful if bread is what you’re after and it takes all the work out of bread making. If you want to take up bread making as a hobby, then, I think a heavy duty stand mixer with a dough hook will work. I’ve a kitchen aid. But kenwood, Bosch etc, also makes heavy duty stand mixers. Go to Tangs basement. I have a rowenta oven. Very respectable and heats up quite evenly.

I think all brands leak if full or if diaper slightly displaced. I like Merries 'cos it’s extremely absorbent for runny poo. However, the breatheable side gathers means if diaper full, leakage will happen. Pampers doesn’t leak for me unless very very full but if poo is runny, it will leak.

Some primary schools ban trolley bags.

Neogarden is pretty good. Good service. Fairly generous portions. Not so sure if it is the tastiest around but it’s a safe choice.

Plain Vanilla is really nice. I love the cinnamon sugar. Well balanced.

I tried the coffee from both machines… I don’t like the milk in the Dolce Gusto’s drinks cos it makes the coffee taste like instant coffee… I think you should try before you buy…hth

Hi Clonob, I think you’re better off sending child to a full day school with a more demanding curriculum in K2… My dd was attending school right up to Christmas in her K2 year and it kept the momentum going for her transition into P1 and subsequent learning…


Another thing to consider is that even if a child is advanced academically, there are other things he can learn from being in the company of his peers… Eg… Social skills, negotiation, compromise, discussion etc… Important to find a school that facilitates learning of these skills…

I think there’s no advantage to sending a 3 year old to n2 in advance… As the child has to repeat a year, whichever year it may be,the child will get bored… Jmho…
