I heard from moms in his kindergarten that bullyings are very common in all-boys schools :scared:

Few weeks back, wanbao reported that one plump P4 boy at Maris was beaten up by a gang of 15 classmates led by the monitor who was a taekwondo expert. The parents said that he has been bullied almost every day by that monitor and he is now afraid of going to school. Then this week (last night's wanbao), a P1 boy was involved in a scuffle with his classmate and ended up with his lips bleeding. His parents called the police and ambulance to the school but the authorities thought the injury was too minor to warrant their concern.

Both parents say the school does nothing to protect the victims and the bullies are tolerated coz the school wants to give the errant boys a chance.

Does this means i need to send my son for classes to learn to defend himself since the scjool seem to be not doing anything? I was hoping for a school with discipline but this seems to be non-existant based on what i am reading.

Did school step forward (officially/ unofficially) to clarify/ update parents about the bullying case about the P4 boy or other unpublished bullying cases?

I've worked for my 1st and current boss for 13 years now. Can't resign bcoz I married him :oops:, Have to help him lah (not that really I love the job).

3 kids = DD 10yo, DD 8yo and DS 4yo
MIL helps take care of my kids, maid does the housework and cooking.
Very grateful to MIL, bcoz she also goes through their homework AND she's a very strict disciplinarian
