Hi, anyone knows what time does school start daily (reporting time) for NUS High?

Anyone has the CCA schedule as well?
I saw the CCA brochures online but most CCAs did not list their meeting days and timing.

NUSH has sent out camp invites via email last evening (9 July at 6pm). Apparently there are 2 main groups, full-day campers and half-day (PM) campers. Do remember to submit your confirmation to attend the camp via the link in the email.

I guess there are 3 groups as my DS is attending half-day (AM).

I wonder if half-day campers have a lower chance of getting into NUSH than those selected for the full-day camp?

Hi, I have just emailed them. The teacher in charged said they are strict on this criterion only..sadly..If any child ever get in via non platinum feel free to inform us. Thought to apply this sch bec is nearer to home.
Thank you so much for sharing their reply! Very helpful as now I won't waste 1 DSA option on ACSI Math domain.

Hi, does anyone know if ACSI ever accepted or at least shortlisted non-platinum awardees for APMOPS via DSA mathematics?

Or has ACSI been strict about this criterion for the past few years?

    • RE: All About GEP

Hi, will the gep screening round this year include topics such as "area and perimeter", "mass, length, volume" and "time" (basically the term 4 topics in the new P3 Math syllabus)?

In previous years such as in 2021, my older kid’s gep letter mentioned the topics that were not included for math but in 2023, the letter does not mention if any topics are not included.

Hi, anyone's kid had an OAS answer sheet with final question number that didn't tally with the Question paper final question number?

My kid said 3 out of the 4 papers (English, English GA and Math) had the total number of questions tally with the OAS sheet. Example: 40 questions in the question paper and also exactly 40 questions to shade in the OAS, no Q41 or Q42 etc. in the OAS.

However 1 of the papers (Math GA) had fewer total questions in the question paper as compared to the number of questions printed on the OAS. Hence he had blanks on the OAS (nearly 10 blanks in the OAS that had no corresponding question in the question paper). He checked the question paper multiple times to make sure he didn't skip any question too.

Is the above possible? Everyone else says their question paper always tallied with their OAS in terms of number of questions.

Or did the invigilator give him the wrong question paper (since no name is printed on the question paper) such that it doesn't tally with his OAS (with his name printed on it)?

Don’t worry . My DD said the same . GA 2 OAS was not filled up . There were fewer qn on the qn paper than what was available on the OAS for shading .

Thank you!! Such a relief after reading your reply. For a moment there, I thought my kid was one of the rare unlucky ones to experience an error. Thanks so much for replying to my post! 😊
