Yup they shuffled them again and I don't understand why. :?

The school year for p6 is so short and now they have to adjust to new classmates and new teachers. I think my girl is going to take a while to get her engines running and this is not helping.

He did badly for Chinese,hoping Oral and Compo will pull his marks up but very unlikely cos Oral n Compo is usually his weakness.
As for the rest, so far okay.
I have not seen the papers, not sure wht the standard is higher for this SA2.

My DD got back all her papers, she did not do well in Chinese either. According to DD's MT teacher, this time round Paper 2 was rather difficult. Anyway, it is still not too late for the children to pull their socks up for P6.[/quote]

My girl tells me that her teacher has said the comprehension questions are supposed to be asked in such a way that is quite difficult to copy large parts from the passage. She also has a bad habit of copying everything and loses marks when her answers don’t really fit. And P5 has 10 questions, even more marks to lose!

Generally I think a major spilt (if necessary) would occur at end of P4. So for Dinomummy case if the very real. Maybe they want to let the P5 spilt equally in the 2 classes which is 5M & 5A2.

My older DD had only 39 in her class last year. This cohort must be a bigger one.

just wanna to know what is everyone sentiments on the English \"textbooks\" used in RMPS. Altho' I know STELLAR has no textbooks but I kind of feel insecure. This year, in Pri 3, they supplement the English materials by using Zoom in Vocab (by CASCO) and Grammar assessment (cant remb which publisher). This year, in P4 book list, a \"literature\" book called Matilda (by Pearson) is included. Wonder how English is taught via that...esp the kids are only 10yrs old.

Hi, I just want to chime in after lurking around here for a while. My child just finished with P4 and the Matilda book was used in term 3. The teacher conducted literature type of lessons with the class, mostly to do with comprehension and vocabulary.

I am also a bit concerned about the lack of books for English next year. Does anyone know if they will make the kids buy other supplementary material when the new year starts?
