Case 138 also, Quarantined from 15 Feb to 6th March. After finishing his quarantine, he visited SAFRA Punggol before being diagnosed as a positive case! Very Weird, finished quarantine still a virus carrier.
These two cases already showed 14 days not enough? Is there a need to extend quarantine period to 21 days?
Some of them may not have caught it during the gala dinner. Considering they are singing class/karaoke kakis, they had probably gone for a few other group activities before and after the dinner so there's no way to pinpoint when they actually caught it.
That being said, since I believe these people usually lead a highly active life, plus the intermingling during the dinner, the reach of the infection can be quite scary.
It's hard to be completely water-tight even with long quarantines in place because the number of days the virus stays active in your body can differ quite significantly from person to person, depending on the effectiveness of your own immune system. If your immune system is strong, you could just recover from it naturally within a few days and think you had a regular cold. If a person has cough/fever and goes to see a doc, doc gives 5 days MC to rest at home, and within these 5 days the person recovers - he/she would think that she just had a cold when it could actually have been COVID too! If the person didn't stay home during the 5 days and went about the neighbourhood as per normal because the symptoms were \"not serious\", he/she could have spread to many more people in the process.
Let's just try to stay healthy, get lots of rest, drink lots of water to keep our immune systems up - and we'll get through this!
